Russian Slack users complain in the App Store and Play Store about the removal of some of their workspaces in the corporate messenger. “The organization’s workspace was deleted without any warning,” one of the users wrote in a review about the application.
The first reviews are dated March 12. Some users write that the “commands” began to disappear without warning. Someone received a corresponding notification after the block.
“A workspace for several thousand people was deleted without warning,” reads one of the comments.
In a statement, the company said that Slack is obliged to take measures in the face of sanctions against Russia. The company stressed that the messenger will not delete customer data, but companies that are sanctioned will not be able to access their data until restrictions are lifted.
