YouTube has signed its own sentence, according to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“Apparently, YouTube has signed a sentence for itself. Save the content, transfer it to Russian platforms. And quickly,” Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.
The speaker of the State Duma Volodin, in response to the blocking by the YouTube video hosting of the account of the Duma TV channel covering the work of the State Duma, said – “Washington, crossing out all the principles of democracy, does everything to ensure that only its point of view and no other is present on platforms, including YouTube. The US wants to get a monopoly on the promotion of information. We cannot allow this to happen.”
On April 7, for numerous violations of Russian legislation by the American IT company Google LLC, Roskomnadzor decided to introduce coercive measures of an informative and economic nature.
