“The presented product can be called a new generation of Russian telecommunications equipment for enterprise-class access and aggregation networks. Its software is completely domestic, and the hardware platform is manufactured on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the report says.
“Thus, our routers will be able to get the status of a TORP,” said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec State Corporation.
The TORP register is part of the Unified Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products maintained by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The presence of the TORP status allows telecom equipment to be used in import substitution projects implemented by state-owned companies, departments and businesses with state participation.
