The Ministry of Transport of Russia has prepared a bill providing for the transfer of FSB data by taxi aggregators, RBC reports with reference to the document. Its authenticity was confirmed by the representative of Citymobil and the chairman of the Public Council for the Development of Taxis in the Regions of Russia Irina Zaripova.
The article says that according to the new bill, passenger taxi ordering services (aggregators or taxi companies with their own taxi ordering application) will be required to provide “automated remote access” to their information systems and data to the Federal Security Service (FSB).
Information about trips, including the location of the taxi and the driver, was also proposed to be sent to the Regional Navigation Information System (RNIS).
The bill was approved by the Ministry of Justice, Rostransnadzor, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Tax Service and the Ministry of Health.
