Google intends to add a new “step-by-step guide” to privacy and security settings in its Chrome browser in the coming weeks.

The new manual will include separate pages about some settings, each of which will contain a description of the functions. There will also be various notes, for example, that enabling history synchronization saves the URLs of visited sites in the Google account.

The privacy guide will “begin rolling out gradually” to all users of the desktop version of the Chrome 100 browser “in the coming weeks,” according to a Google blog post.

To access the manual, click on the three-dot menu icon in the upper-right corner of the browser, click “Settings” and go to the “Privacy and Security” tab. When it is available, a Privacy Guide should appear there.
