Telegram founder Pavel Durov noted that channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events.
In his opinion, moderators do not have the physical ability to check all channel publications for authenticity.
He urges users from Russia and Ukraine to treat with doubt any data that is being distributed in Telegram at this time.
Durov wants Telegram to be used as a tool that aggravates conflicts and incites ethnic strife.
