A drunk IT specialist lost all savings on his account after a trip in a Moscow taxi. The man fell asleep in the car, and when he woke up and came to himself, he found that unknown attackers had bought 13 iPhone smartphones with his card for a total of 1.4 million rubles, writes Baza.
On the evening of March 26, the man visited a local bar and stayed there until 2 a.m. He left the institution by taxi, where he fell asleep safely. The next morning, waking up in his apartment, the IT specialist vaguely remembered that two unknown men had impolitely kicked him out of the car near the metro station. And he discovered that his bank account was empty: someone had installed an app on his phone and bought 13 iPhones with urgent delivery. At that time, the order had already been received by the buyer.
The IT support service could not help the IT specialist, and the courier who delivered the order admitted that he handed over the phones to a man in a medical mask who was in a very “hurry to get on the plane.”
The man turned to the police, but stressed that he would most likely not be able to identify the attackers.
